A Burien resident since 2001, originally from Whidbey Island, I've journeyed back to the Pacific Northwest in 1999, drawn by its natural beauty. As a mother of three, stepmother of four, and a proud grandmother, family is at my core.

Beyond family, I wear multiple hats – artist, interior designer, and residential architect, running Crimson Park Design since 1999. My passion extends to community development, believing in the symbiotic relationship between a robust community, visionary city planning, and a strong economic strategy.

Active in the arts scene, I co-founded White Center for the Arts, played a key role in its merger, and served as president. Joining the Burien Arts Commission in 2010, I chaired the Arts and Economic Development committee, spearheading the creation of an Arts and Culture District in 2014. I initiated B-Town Beat, led it until 2016, and contributed to Art Alley and Mural Masters, collaborating with artists like Sam Sneke, Angelina Villalobos, Craig Johnson, and community member Lance McIntosh.

A supporter of local artists, I served on the Highline School District Arts Council and curated art installations in empty Burien storefronts. Co-founder of the Burien Film Festival in 2014 and organizer of the Burien UFO Festival since 2013, my journey culminates as the Chair of the Burien Planning Commission, where I'm excited to contribute to the Comprehensive Plan update.
